Elementary: Classes for grades K-4 begin at 9:15 am on Sundays. Our K-1 class and our grade 3-4 class use St. Mary's Press' Discover! Finding Faith in Life program; our K-1 class is also using Sophia Institute for Teachers' Spirit of Truth. Our Sacrament Prep (mostly 2nd grade) class is using St. Mary's Press' Go Seek Find: Discover God's Treasures for First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation. All of the St. Mary's Press programs make use of The Catholic Children’s Bible in every lesson. Children who do not already have a copy of The Catholic Children’s Bible will be provided one.
Middle School: Classes for students in grades 5-8 are from 7 to 8:15 pm on Wednesdays. At Father Jubish’s request, we have implemented a program from St. Mary’s Press called Catholic Connections to provide some continuity with the elementary program. During the 2021-22 school year, our focus is on the New Testament, the Church, and the Sacraments. Additionally, this year we studied Credible Catholic's 7 Essential Modules. Each class includes time for students to
High School: Classes for high schoolers take place from noon until 2 pm on scheduled Sundays (once or twice a month). Lunch is provided after Mass so students can attend Mass and stay for class. We are following the Diocese of Marquette’s high school curriculum guidelines, adapted to fit our local situation. Over the year, students study six topics for four hours each. While most of the students in the high school class are preparing for Confirmation (which typically takes place in the fall of the senior year of high school in our vicariate), high school faith formation is more than just preparation for Confirmation. Students in all high school grades, including those who have already been confirmed, are welcome to join us.
